QUOTES
“It was a very special moment for John's spirit was awakening and he was opening up, I had touched and resonated with his soul. It was more than just cyber sex, more than making love with someone you loved, it was blending souls as soul mates do and it was an incredible moment for the two of us. We both cried beautiful happy tears”

"I don't know what you have done, my mind is not my own
For you have magicked me for my feelings for you have grown
I did not set to fall in love, for you must have cast a spell
For you have bewitched me and all my doubts dispel
What spell have you cast to enchant me like this?
To make me fall in love and ache for your kiss”
“I heard your whispered fantasies so clear
Softly told in my ear
I opened my eyes you weren't there
So real my dream, I was so aware
But we'll meet again so certainly

Maryann and John live thousands of miles apart on different continents, they have never met, this does not stop them having an intimate relationship. What is different about this relationship is that it's conducted psychically.
To the reader this book may seem more of “A Psychic Manual” than a novel, especially so to readers who have no experience in psychic phenomena, but in order to understand what went on between the characters I felt I had to explain how the phenomena occurred, as this phenomena can actually happen in real life and not purely in fiction. I do hope the explanations throughout the story will not be irritating to you as this was not my intention and you will find these explanations in italics. You are welcome to skip through these italic sections though I hope you won’t as these are an important part of the story.

"AN ANGEL'S FEATHER" MY LATEST BOOK (EXCERPT)

AVAILABLE AMAZON WORLDWIDE OTHER OUTLETS TO COME
CHAPTER ONE
LIFE IS A LESSON
As I said before, we learn through making mistakes and believe me I’ve made lots, every medium has a story to tell and it will be a life of ups and downs but none of us would change any of it. When we go through hard times it doesn’t feel like this but when you look back on your life you will see your life like a jigsaw, how one part had to happen to create another aspect, how each part came together like pieces of a jigsaw. You will realize just how much you have learned about life and you will come to accept these challenges we all face and it does in a way bring contentment.
I can’t speak for all mediums but I can share my experiences and from this you will start to understand what life is about.
What we all have in common as well as some tough times is a sensitivity; people will say you are too sensitive as it’s a bad thing to be, but to be a medium it’s a wonderful thing to be. Being sensitive enables us to tune into spirit and to how people are feeling
we pick up atmospheres, know when something is not right and can understand how others feel. Chances are you’ve been like this from birth, your parents may have labeled you as being highly strung and or you may have cried a lot as a baby. This will have driven your parents to distraction at the time, we are often clingy children and pick up the moods of how our parents and siblings feel and if they feel unhappy and or stressed we will too. Trouble is at such a young age babies are not able to convey how they feel, and just know they are sad and unable to differentiate between what are their feelings and those of others.
Babies are naturally sensitive after all they have just recently been incarnated from spirit so they haven’t quite lost that memory of the spirit realms. It’s not uncommon to find babies staring at something you cannot see, as they haven’t yet completed the full transition to life on earth.
However this does not mean every baby has the ability to become a medium for through day-to-day living gradually memories of the other side are lost. Parents will tell you it’s your imagination and the majority will forget. Those who are destined to become mediums they will not, that sensitivity will never leave us and it’s this sensitivity that can make us appear odd, like we feel different and more often than not our peer groups will notice. Children can be very cruel and it’s not unusual for the sensitive child to become the victim of bullies precisely because we are different.
The sensitive child has a very active imagination, this is no bad thing it leads to creativity and deep thinking and it’s this thoughtfulness that leads to world changes and development. If you have a sensitive child support and be proud of them for they will make a difference to others’ lives in the world as they grow up.
Our souls are at different development levels with some being older souls than others and the older the soul the more spiritual you will be. This is because older souls have experienced more incarnations (lifetimes) so have much more experience of different challenges in these lifetimes, they have learned a lot, been to earth’s classroom a lot more so are more spiritually educated.

FIRST BORN
FIRST BORN
I may never have seen you grow
Nor your little character know
But in winter’s depths you’re in my mind
No matter how many years have passed in time
Into this world you I was meant to welcome
And for why? I couldn’t fathom
They say for this world you were in spirit too pure
Of that I am certainly sure
If that was meant to comfort it did not
And time has passed but I’ve not forgot
The years may have softened the hurt
And other tiny blessings may have brought much comfort
For in another world you may have grown
But you were always and will be my first born

TRUST AND ACCEPTANCE
TRUST AND ACCEPTANCE
My eyes have been opened and now shut they cannot
For I have seen far too much, never to be forgot
Treading through mud with little progress how life seems to be
But this is what life is, its not meant to be easy
For it is through trouble and adversity this is how we grow
No experience is wasted each one is useful in it’s own way
And you too will have your eyes opened one day
It’s only at your destination you can look back and realise
For then the blinkers will be removed from your eyes
For only when we have struggled we can see why
This may not be a comfort at this moment this is because you cannot yet see
But the fog will lift and the whole picture seen then you’ll understand like me
If I could give just one piece of advice it would be this
Two little words trust and acceptance hold onto them and don’t dismiss
Believe in these words and your worries will disappear and go

LIFE'S TOO SHORT TO BE IMPRISONED
LIFE’S TOO SHORT TO BE IMPRISONED
Nights are long I ache for sleep
My eyes so tired and red I weep
So imprisoned I long to fly
And feel the wind and touch the sky
There are no physical shackles that restrict and bind
I’m purely a hostage of my mind
If only my mind you departed
I wouldn’t be here and broken hearted
If you’re so happy as you say
Why have you come my way?
Indecisiveness is a trap
It will simply bind and hold you back
Learn from me and make a decision
Life’s too short to be imprisoned

INTO THIS MYSTERIOUS WORLD TO PEEP
INTO THIS MYSTERIOUS WORLD TO PEEP
Who knows what’s in store in my dreams tonight
Will it be within my grasp or take flight?
Will I be teased as is often the case?
Or will a new path beckon and be my fate?
What ever happens there’s an answer there
Likely the answer is not fair
We may not understand what at first is shown
But when we’ve worked it out our soul will have grown
My eyes are heavy it’s time for sleep
As I journey into this mysterious world to peep

EACH OTHER'S HEARTS
EACH OTHER’S HEARTS
What is a true love relationship? it’s a meeting of minds
Not just a physical one of the transient kind
Not like a falling leaf to wither, shrivel and die
Nor the kind to destroy you and have you cry
It’s the coming together of all of the whole
Your very being, your entire soul
And no matter what happens there will be a connection
Not one that will tear you apart in the opposite direction
You both know what the other is thinking
No words are needed for your souls are linking
You both laugh at the same very things
Your presence with each other makes each of your hearts sing
And you both feel the pain when each other is sad
You can’t offend each other or even be truly mad
Now you may say this is the stuff of fairy tales and fantasies
A cloud cuckoo dream of impossible imageries
It doesn’t happen often and it seems totally bizarre
There’s no rhyme or reason to it and no distance is too far
But you’ll know when you have it, you’ll sense it, there’s a knowing
And from a tiny seed of instant connection it will keep on growing
Carving and etching, impressing deep in your brain
You won’t be able to forget and your life will never again be the same
Nor can you escape for what is the divine
For each other’s hearts are both yours and mine

THERE MIGHT BE A FROG OR AN UGLY TOAD
THERE MIGHT BE A FROG OR AN UGLY TOAD
Once upon a time in a far away land
A prince came and took me by the hand
He gazed deeply into my eyes
And spoon fed me fairy tales and lies
He promised me fantasies of dreams to come true
And I fell for them hook line and sinker for them too
He reeled me in
For a web of deceit he’d spin
Then one day my rosy bubble burst
It would seem my dream appeared was cursed
Who was my prince? not who I was led to believe
But a frog in disguise whom my heart deceived
Don’t fall for every prince you see
Nor fall for their deluded fantasy
For underneath their crown of gold
There might be a frog or an ugly toad

PLEASE DO NOT MISS ME
PLEASE DO NOT MISS ME
Please do not miss me for I have not gone
Nor neither cry or for me long
For I am still here
And you will find me where
Upon a breeze I will call
And brush your face by the leaves that fall
For as the sun shines in its warmth you’ll feel my smile
As I’ve been been here all the while
And as darkness falls and from this stars peep
By your side gently I will creep
And by your side quietly I will lie
Still i’ll be as you gently close your eyes
And as you sleep and dream’s journey travel
We’ll be together united in this true love marvel

NEW BOOK LAUNCH "A ROSE HAS THORNS"
![]() |
A special thanks to Consuelo Parra Perez for her beautiful cover design |
Kindle version is available now and Paperback very soon
Paperback ISBN-13: 978-1539407942 ISBN-10: 1539407942
Kindle ASIN: B01MA162YM
ABOUT THIS BOOK
This collection is
mostly love poems interspersed with some with an uplifting and spiritual theme.
By and large this
collection is about strength and even though something may look fragile it’s
not necessarily so. I have used ‘The
Rose’ as an analogy to define its hidden strength, it is beautiful and the
flower delicate but at the same time it has thorns and deep roots and more
resilient than it looks.
As people we are much
stronger than we think, in times of adversity we all have a hidden strength we
can utilize we just need to believe it. Like most of my work there is a
spiritual theme than runs through this collection and the message is “We are stronger than we think”. We only
have to ask spirit to help us tap into it not only that for each challenge we
face in life there is a lesson, we may not realize it at the time but there
will come a time when we will know why we had that experience and what it has
taught us. You will be aware of the common saying, “What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger”, its true and no
experience in life is ever wasted.

DON'T CROSS THE LINE
DON'T CROSS THE LINE
Don't mistake my kindness for being weak
Bully me not for being meek
Don't mistake my sensitivity as being easy to control
Nor think I'll back down and take a submissive role
I can be very patient most of the time
And I'm generally calm unless you cross the line
But if you do I have a whole other side
One you don't want to see for I choose to hide
I have my principals for which I will fight
Then you will see me in an entirely new light
Believe me its not a face you'll choose to see
For I'm better a friend than an enemy be
I'm tenacious to the end it's one of my traits
So don't cross the line and risk tempting fate

“
Great read, it's not the usual romantic novel it's a bit of a cross genre being informative and paranormal but it had me hooked, I would love it if the author wrote a sequel as I would love to know how the characters relationship goes I do hope the author does Sarah65 __________________________ Amazing read and was engrossed until I finished reading, this book is more than a novel it helps understand the psychic's world and has such depth of feelings Stella Matthews An interesting read different but I really enjoyed this book I liked the factual glossary at the end, it helped make sense of the paranormal happenings throughout S Williams ”
