LIFE’S TOO SHORT TO BE IMPRISONED
Nights are long I ache for sleep
My eyes so tired and red I weep
So imprisoned I long to fly
And feel the wind and touch the sky
There are no physical shackles that restrict and bind
I’m purely a hostage of my mind
If only my mind you departed
I wouldn’t be here and broken hearted
If you’re so happy as you say
Why have you come my way?
Indecisiveness is a trap
It will simply bind and hold you back
Learn from me and make a decision
Life’s too short to be imprisoned
