THERE MIGHT BE A FROG OR AN UGLY TOAD
Once upon a time in a far away land
A prince came and took me by the hand
He gazed deeply into my eyes
And spoon fed me fairy tales and lies
He promised me fantasies of dreams to come true
And I fell for them hook line and sinker for them too
He reeled me in
For a web of deceit he’d spin
Then one day my rosy bubble burst
It would seem my dream appeared was cursed
Who was my prince? not who I was led to believe
But a frog in disguise whom my heart deceived
Don’t fall for every prince you see
Nor fall for their deluded fantasy
For underneath their crown of gold
There might be a frog or an ugly toad
