You may be in a dark place but so am I
And all this was your doing let me tell you why
You are weak and so gullible, so easily led
And believed all the lies and fabrications you were fed
You should have got the truth from the horse's mouth

AN EXCERPT OF "CAUGHT IN FRENZIED PASSION"
Alexa entered the hallway to her apartment to be met with two intense sky blue eyes. “Well hey there, you must be Alexa,” blue eyes said.
“Yes, and you are?” Alexa questioned.
“I’m Mike, I moved in yesterday the apartment above yours,” he stated.
“Yes, and you are?” Alexa questioned.
“I’m Mike, I moved in yesterday the apartment above yours,” he stated.
Alexa took in all his appearance, he was tall six foot four there about, slim athletic build and tawny hair that flopped over his forehead and curled over his neck. She watched his firm lips as he mouthed the words, she liked what she saw.
“My god the concierge said you were beautiful that word doesn’t do you justice” he continued.
“Oh you’ve met Mamie then,” smiled Alexa unaware that she had tilted her head to one side and felt the color rise in her cheeks.
“Mamie, yes she’s a character that one, I couldn’t get away. She invited me in for coffee and showed me her photo albums from way back, she had been an exotic dancer at one time. Fantastic figure not that there was much to her costume it left nothing to the imagination,” Mike laughed.
“Oh way too much information”, replied Alexa and added, “I’m not sure I want to know about
Mamie’s outfits!”
“So Alexa I’m new in this neighborhood, what’s it like living here? Are there any fun places to go?”Mike looked straight into her green eyes as he questioned.
Alexa wasn’t sure if he was suggesting she show him around, but she’d noticed she hadn’t thought of Andreas all this time. She liked this guy, Mike.
“Perhaps when I’m settled in you could show me around,” Mike asked.
“Yes perhaps,” Alexa flashed her even teeth smiling.
For the next few days she noticed Mike would give her wave if he passed by in his car, it was almost as if she was avoiding him for she didn’t want to dwell in the hallway of the apartments for too long, till one evening...
“Sweetie has Mike not asked you on a date yet?” questioned Mamie.
Mamie had caught her running upstairs on the way home from the gym.
“No Mamie he hasn’t,” Alexa smiled timidly.
“Honey are you avoiding him?” asked Mamie, “For it sure looks like it, Honey he’s a real nice guy and he asks about you.”
“Really?” questioned Alexa.
“Yes really he does, he told me you are stunning and asks how you are,”replied Mamie.
Alexa thought to herself maybe it would be fun, we could go for a coffee as friends that would be ok or I could show him around a bit like a guided tour, no harm in that. Alexa thought about him and those blue eyes, she felt a warmth go through her body and stirrings she had not felt for a while, she felt aroused and yet confused, she hadn’t felt aroused since Andreas. Maybe it was time to date again, maybe Mamie was right, maybe she could date Mike.....................

Obsession, infatuation and lust
Unfaithfulness, lies and mistrust

Indecision, hate and doubt

Capricorn man is calculating and dogmatic
He's organizing and filing to him is automatic

He doesn't like a scene, he's private and internalizes

He's not known for excitement he's known to bore

THE OTHER WOMAN
The other woman is always there
Like a spectre in the ether, in the air
Oh of course he'll deny
He'll tell you anything but it's a lie
I've never met her but her I despise
I'm tired of the fabrications tired of crying
I've watched him for her preening
And going out smiles gleaming
But those smiles are not for me
I'm just the one who washes his shirts see
I've had all the problems and his fears
I've been the shoulder to cry on and soothe his tears
I'm not his lover he uses me like his mum
Instead he prefers the other woman to have fun
My only consolation is of her he'll tire
She has a shelf life and she will expire
I am her other woman then
For then the texts, messages she'll send
He'll smile and preen for me it's a routine
Sick with guilt so for a moment he'll treat me like a queen
Till it begins again with another woman in a while
Meanwhile I'll have her fun and his smiles
For I am her other woman
