NEVER COMES EASY

Night falls as the sky takes on a dark hue

Twilight plays out its routine in dark blue

There appears the stars one by one twinkling down

Makes an appearance Lady Moon shrouded in her black velvet gown

All around is hushed as night it's secrets keep

Unbeknown the stars look down and peep

So much they know and have seen, the happy and the broken hearts

The lonely and all the lovers kept apart

So much is shrouded in mystery

But it's always been this way throughout history

For what is worth having, most precious and priceless

Never comes easy, it's a fight, but one that can be overcome and victorious
