CONFIDE IN LADY MOON
The night is still and calm apart from distant traffic sounds
There's an eerie mysterious feeling as Lady Moon looks down
Lady Moon knows so many secrets she keeps them close never to reveal
For she knows the thoughts of many and how in our hearts we feel
In the shadows the trees whisper egged on by the breeze
For they are not like lady Moon for they gossip with ease
For the breeze carries their chatter and spreads their gossip and their lies
The truth is then distorted through Chinese whispers fly
But lady Moon looks down serenely, in her you can confide
For she'll listen in confidence and your secrets she will hide
At night when the winds blow don't listen to their tales and lies
For you know they know nothing for Lady Moon won't ever in them confide
