I'll never get a chance but I know it's real

Nor describe how much I pain

Perhaps it was me I didn't describe

Instead you took the other side

But you left a void that I cannot fill

All those years gone and I miss you still

I meant what I said when I loved you unconditionally

I knew then it was eternally

You see my soul made a promise to be kept, a vow

And my soul still feels the same even now

Sometimes I wish we hadn't met

Then I remember those tender moments yet

How can I forget someone I'm in love with still
