A NEW DAY IS MADE
As setting sun welcomes twilight
And evening beckons starlight
She glides in with a cloak of indigo
Speckled with a red gold hue
Swiftly as sun goes down
Twilight now wears the crown
She changes into a gown dark as midnight
Sweeps over the sky in the faltering light
How serene she rules by moon
As we lie sleeping dawn will arrive soon
And she will rest
For dawn will then do what she does best
And fill the sky with pinks, blues and gold of every shade
The sun rises and a new day is made
