A SONNET TO EROTICISM
The sun was setting over sea and sand
You grabbed me tightly by my hand
We ran over the shifting sand by the dunes
Smiling down on us shone the rising moon
Rustling, grabbing hands moved fast
We'd longed for this moment and t'was here at last
Cool breezes cooled naked skin from the sea
You pressed your firm body tight fast against me
We mirrored the movements of the waves under the whispering trees
Gossipping what they witnessed watching over you and me
A hooting owl muffled ecstasy's moans and cries
And waves drowned our pleasure's sighs
The cooling breezes hadn't cooled our pleasure
That night on the beach I'll always treasure
