SPRING
Spring awakes and dons her gown
Adjusts her cloak and fixes her crown
And with a stretch she casts her eye
Over field and meadow tree and sky
As she walks through woods enchanting
She works her magic spells a casting
And paints each tiny flower and leaf
The grass sleepily awakes under her feet
The birds they sing their happy song
Chirping sweetly all day long
Happy its time for Spring has come
A new season, a new beginning has begun
She smiles and caresses each blade of grass
Upward greeting her at last
Shaking off last Winters cover
Each Spring is special like no other
A time to learn from the past and a new beginning
Wake up, wake up, the birds are chirping
A new Spring is here and its exciting
It's time to stretch and bask in the sun
Throw off your coat of Winter, Spring has sprung
