I WONDER
I wonder what you're thinking as you go about your day
I wonder into who's eyes you gaze and what you say
I wonder if she believes you, just as I had done
And if you've really fooled her into thinking you're the one
I wonder if she believes the sweet talk, like you did with me
I wonder if her vision's clouded as like me she couldn't see
I wonder how you've played her the same old game
And fooled her with the flannel and the lies, the very same
I wonder if you tell her you love her so
I wonder if you say to her, you'll never go
I wonder so many things I never understood and why you lied
And why I believed it all it hurt and the tears I cried
I wonder why you do this, is this for revenge?
I wonder if you behave like this your own pain you'll avenge
I wonder why you think we are all the same
When are you going to realise I was not to blame
I wonder when you'll wake up to your epiphany
Your answer's in the mirror and looking back at you quite frankly
