I'M SORRY
Here I sit in the stupid hours and I am very aware
You pretend to ignore, you pretend not to care
But I know otherwise and so do you
I pick up your thoughts and you know this too
You go about your day pretending all is fine
But your mind is preoccupied all of the time
You say you are good but you know this isn't true
You're feeling the way just as I am too
Why don't you stop the pretence and just say how you feel
Instead of this fake existence, just be real
So swallow your pride and ditch that stupid ego
And do what you should have done a long time ago
Say what's in your heart and let it speak loud and clear
You know you feel as I do and you wish that you were near
But time and distance is a concept that can be overcome
It starts with a few words, I'm sorry, give your mind it's freedom
