YOU TOOK MY SOUL LONG AGO
You're under my skin
Like an itch with no relief
I'm a prisoner in a cell
With no key for release
I'm tied up, I'm bound
For there's no escape
You're an illness, a disease
With no cure to be found
I'm infested with your thoughts
You plague my mind
You're incurable, my defences are down
No cure can be sought of any type nor kind
For you consume me, and my head's over run
You flow through my veins
Every battle you've won
I'm tired and I'm weary, I know not what to do
You've consumed me in passion
And I'm haunted by you
You're a limpet, a leech, you just will not go
You're a fever all consuming
And you took my soul long ago
