SET TO MUSIC
These are the poems featured in the video and from a new book of mine entitled 'ENCHANTED'
ENCHANTED
I do not know what you have done to me nor spell you have cast
But some how you have magicked me and wiped away my past
All doubts have gone and wounds have healed and you have mesmerised me
You blew away the clouds of doubt, cleared my vision and let me see
And yet for all you gave to me, you couldn't heal your own soul
Let me return the favour, help you heal and make again you whole
I wish I could explain what you have given, the riches and the treasures
Not those of material wealth but the love, its joy and all it's pleasures
I may not in this lifetime receive what I really wanted
It matters not for I know in another I will, for I have been enchanted
A SULTRY EVENING
A sultry evening heavy was the floral scent
Suddenly brown and sea blue eyes met
A blended image of a beautiful hue
It felt so right to fall in love with you
As seasons pass and winters come and go
That heady summer seems so long ago
But it left etches deep on my brain
And life has never been quite the same
For as sudden as a summer shower could appear
A seed of doubt grew to become a fear
And as the days shorter grew
From my heart love's embrace flew
And on this sultry evening hot
Memories flood my brain never to be forgot
Of when brown eyes blended with sea blue
Of when I fell in love with you
COME LAY WITH ME MY LOVER DEAR
Come lay with me my lover dear
And lay with me till dawn
Let us taste loves sweet wine and loves sweet music hear
Let us fill the air with passion's song
And loves sweet dance
For it's clear to me it's in my arms you belong
My wine is sweet, come my lover taste
The moon is bright and rises high
Let us not this night waste
For as dawns colours rise with the sun
We will lie spooning as lovers do
And in first light we will lie our souls as one
