Sometimes change isn't always bad, it can be for the better and that is good. People will always gravitate to those of a similar type, its the way of the Universe, we are attracted to kindred spirits and those friends you are meant to be with, well you will stay with and attract kindred souls. All change is hard, its like leaping into the unknown, and its this unknown that creates the fear and the reluctance to embrace it. I recall the first time I tried a really deep type of meditation a very deep Budist type. In lots of meditation, you focus on breathing and you start to receive information and often see colours or visions within this type but in this deep type of meditation the idea is to still your mind completely, where there is nothing, no pictures, no sounds, no focusing on anything and the first few times you do this its very important you do it in company. What you feel is like a huge black precipice and you feel genuine fear as you teeter on the edge and feel a fear if you give in and jump, you wont ever come back. No joking that's what is feels like to get so deep with this type. This is why its important you practise this under the guidance of someone experienced. But when you face your fears and go with it, the Ecstasy and tranquillity and peace you find are completely out of this world. It's very difficult to achieve this sensation for long, but its truly amazing.
So not all change is bad and there comes a time in our lives when we have to go with it, and no amount of cajoling ourselves can stop what has been started. The Universe knows what we need and that what we do not, will be shed just as the leaves are falling now and it means we leave things behind. Some of which will hurt and hurt us bad, but to continue will only hurt us more in the long run.
We cant interfere in the development of others, we have to allow them to develop at their own pace and it can hurt to see those we love make mistakes and fall off the route they were meant to travel, but we were all given free will and we have the choice to leave the road that is meant for us. Most of us will eventually find our way back, its almost akin to coming off the motorway walking along the grass verge and hoping into the field for a bit, but eventually we find the motorway again. Sadly others do not and although you may offer advice and guidance to a few, if they don't want to accept it, then we have to let them find their own way. All we can do is wave them goodbye with love.
But its an old saying as one door closes another will be opened up for us, its a true one. It can take courage to go tentatively inside, we can always leave the old door open for a bit and if it stays open well that's OK, but should we find it closed, well there is no point in banging on that door.
Those whom we are meant to help and those who are meant to help us will be brought to us, what we chose to do is up to us for the opportunities are there.
I don't expect a lot of you will have a clue what I'm talking about, I just know I had to write this today. I am very spiritual by nature and some of you wont understand that bit of me. But hey that's OK, when I love I love deeply and do so unconditionally. Certain things touch my soul, and I'm sure if you think about it certain things touch yours, like that moving piece of music that makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck and give you goosebumps, when you see a starving, malnourished child on TV in Africa and when your first baby is born. Those emotions you feel then that wondrous, goosebumpy, tingly, do I laugh or cry sensation: well that's what it feels like to have your soul touched. I have that all the time and it drives me nuts, but you know I wouldn't have it any other way. And well that is me, there are those who like me for that and those who don't, such is life. But for those who dislike me I don't dislike you and never could. I forgive too easily and that's what I mean by unconditional, no prejudgements, no hidden agendas, completely unabashed forgiveness. Lol in other words I am too damned soft lol.
Thank you for reading and listening
