QUOTES

“It was a very special moment for John's spirit was awakening and he was opening up, I had touched and resonated with his soul. It was more than just cyber sex, more than making love with someone you loved, it was blending souls as soul mates do and it was an incredible moment for the two of us. We both cried beautiful happy tears”
Astrid Brown, A Psychic Affair: A Romantic Novel
"I don't know what you have done, my mind is not my own
For you have magicked me for my feelings for you have grown
I did not set to fall in love, for you must have cast a spell
For you have bewitched me and all my doubts dispel
What spell have you cast to enchant me like this?
To make me fall in love and ache for your kiss”

“I heard your whispered fantasies so clear
Softly told in my ear
I opened my eyes you weren't there
So real my dream, I was so aware
But we'll meet again so certainly
In our whispered fantasy”
Astrid Brown, Whispered Fantasies

My bucket list starts with: Tell all my friends and family

Tell all my friends and family
As I would want to start planning, there would be a few things I would like to say and not just to friends and family lol! as it would be difficult to communicate exactly what I wished to say after I passed over. Tell my loved ones I loved them and how much and explain although I wouldn't be on earth for much longer, I would always be there in spirit for them always being just a thought a whisper away.

Get all my affairs in order
make sure all my bills are paid including my funeral costs. Make sure my will is up to date and even give certain possessions away as I would like, so there would be no squabbling afterwards

Plan a huge party
I want to leave this earth with a bang and enter the next celebrating. So I would host the best party I could.

Make plans for my demise
If I knew I was going soon, I would want to make sure I was passing as painfree as possible so this would be discussed with hospice staff doctors etc. Plus I would be arranging my funeral, which I forbid to be sad, everyone would have to come in their best party clothes, no crying, no wreaths, no sad speeches or tears. I would want the best dance music and want the party to go on for hours to give me a great send off to my new life. I would also wish everyone attend a ceremony of throwing my ashes into the sea and another excuse for a party.

Lastly speak my mind
Tell those who have wronged others and me exactly what I thought of their behaviour, whilst I had the chance, obviously after I told all my loved ones, how much I loved them. We should tell those we love, we love them every day for you never know what lies before us and I would like to think my loved ones will depart this earth knowing how much I love them

Let me tell you what I do

Every day in my life is different and that's why I love what I do, it can be full of surprises. I work for the best employers in the Universe, being a spiritualist/medium/psychic "Spirit" and I never know, who or what they are going to bring to me, either to show or teach me something or for me to help and pass on something that will help another. At the moment I am mostly doing this in my writing, whether its through my books or via my blogs. I am also a counsellor and I spend a great deal of my day listening to others. I cant always offer anything practically but I can listen and this is what counselling is all about. Its not about telling the person or client what to do, its just about making the client realise, they have had their own solutions to their problems all along, and they just simply weren't aware of it. One of the joys of being a Medium is no matter how dark things can become, when things are at their darkest, like the time before dawn, something will raise you to such joy. So I love my job whether it is to inspire or to listen, there is always an answer, that silver lining inside every black cloud

Italian food is the best don't you think?

Italian food it's the best. If you could eat only one type of cuisine for a year, what would it be?

Disgusting Italian Food by scriptingnews

Sometimes, the Plinky office is nourished by nothing but Italian food for weeks at a time. What region's cuisine could sustain you for a year?

I would have to agree with the Plinky office. As a regular traveller to Italy I have spent time in inexpensive eateries and expensive ones and various hotels, bars and cafes and have never had one bad meal or cup of coffee. I defy anyone to say otherwise. I adore all Italian food, there is nothing I dislike and my idea of paradise.

What is your idea of food paradise?

Medieval stocks would set this country straight

Bring back Medieval Stocks

Stow-on-the-Wold .. medieval stocks on the square by rosemary_mcd

Medieval stocks is what it needs, why because I think I little humilation is what low lives need. Vandals and thugs who pick on others tend to be very brave when in a group but made to face up to what they have done and separated from their little gangs, they are not so brave. So if they were fastened in stocks in a public place and named and shamed and told a few home truths and humilated I think they might think twice before doing it again. Especially if they knew this was the punishment. Locking them up out of public view doesn't help deter them, so why not put them on show in the middle of the town with a placard detailing their crimes. Of course to keep the do gooders happy, throwing rocks, rotting vegatables wouldn't be allowed, but the public would be allowed to speak their mind to the criminal.

What do you think? a good idea or not?

My money's on the bear

Bears or sharks who would win a fight lol?

Well this isn't as straightforward to answer as you might think. The shark is a big fish so if this fight took place on dry land the bear would win hands down lol! All the bear would have to do is tire the shark out a bit and kill time and the shark would suffer lack of oxygen. The bear would have the upper hand, with its four sharp paws and jaw and it would soon be having shark fish fingers for dinner.

On the other hand if this fight was taking place in the sea, the shark would have the upper hand. The bear would not be able to swim as fast weighed down by its fur coat and be unable to swim underwater and for some reason bears do not like having their ears wet. Could be though it was a shark with dental caries and lost its teeth or it could be a geriatric shark. Assuming they were both in equal states of health, I think the shark would be having bear steaks that day

So I guess its swings and roundabouts here. But hypothetically if the shark was able to breathe on land I guess the bear would be more mobile and be able to duck and dive, where the shark would only be able to flounder around not having legs. I suppose hypothetically if the bear wore diving equipment and flippers, he would be able to survive the fight when the shark pulled him under water and his fur coat and diving equipment might weigh him down a bit, he would have his jaw and four sharp paws where the shark only has his teeth.

Bears are very fond of fish and part of their normal diet, where sharks don't eat bears as a rule, so it might think twice going after it. So the bear would probably start the fight in the first place.

If you want me to put money on it I would say the bear

Great read, it's not the usual romantic novel it's a bit of a cross genre being informative and paranormal but it had me hooked, I would love it if the author wrote a sequel as I would love to know how the characters relationship goes I do hope the author does Sarah65 __________________________ Amazing read and was engrossed until I finished reading, this book is more than a novel it helps understand the psychic's world and has such depth of feelings Stella Matthews An interesting read different but I really enjoyed this book I liked the factual glossary at the end, it helped make sense of the paranormal happenings throughout S Williams
