As the flame burned down the heady fragrance of vanilla
Drifted on the cooling breeze
Filling and echoing in my senses making me
Half dizzy under your gaze
You sat beside me taking the ice from your drink
Letting it sizzle trailing down the front of my dress
As it melted I wanted your kisses to follow that warm trail
You smiled as I squealed, the air was heavy on that sultry eve
I loved how your eyes twinkled and danced in the candle flame
I caught your eyes stare at the wet pool forming on the damp silk
Your hands were hot as you undid buttons and hooks
I caught your firm outline as the last of the warm wax burned
Hot like your kisses on my bare flesh
I could feel little channels of sweat form down your spine
As you moved rhythmically and frantically as dawn awoke
The red glow of the waking sun rose as our passions mounted
That dawn chorus was so sweet
